We are a husband and wife artisan team living and working on the high plains of Eastern Colorado. All our work is original and hand-made. No two pieces are identical and are impossible to replicate. We create with the Japanese philosophy of Wabisabi that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity.

Most of our creations are products of change and trial by fire. We work with clay and glass put under extreme heat in our kilns to transform elements into works of art. Minerals from the earth and the muse of nature inspire our work.

Several years ago a pair of hawks made our property their home and have been here ever since reminding us of life's big picture and stirring our imaginations. To honor these visionaries of the air we have named our studio Dancing Hawks.
